This is the last stanza from I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables. It is a song of how as children, people have dreams of how their lives will end up. How they will change the world and make it better for mankind. Astronauts, scientists, teachers.... the list is endless.
With whole lives ahead, dreams are a powerful driving force. But sometimes once on a career path, it is not what it seemed to be.
